"Beziehungsweise"

This project provides platforms for information as well as information-exchange on demographics, migration and integration at the regional level. Relevant terms, aspects, facts and figures will be presented seriously using different communication tools and media. This is necessary because migration and especially integration are frequently misunderstood. Very often they are reduced to some statistics. This is why Beziehungsweise wants to highlight objectively information about migration and integration and add some human views. Involving migrants in social live leads to additional perspectives and opportunities. This attitude as well as some local activities to enforce integration processes should be encouraged. Last not least this project should also help to evoke more understanding and some additional help for asylum seekers.

Facebook-postings, an online-video-platform with some life stories or a series on lecture evenings on local level are set up to raise awareness and to spread messages. Using this different settings will enable users or participants to get an overview or to go in detail. In addition to that some network-meetings are planned. This meetings will be organized to connect representatives and activists of different municipalities, to share experiences and to discuss ideas of other working groups and initiatives on (inter)national level. It is finally hoped, that the network-meetings will also help to encourage some follow-up projects on local level.
