Radlerpicknick Weinviertel

The "Weinviertel cyclists' picnic" project is an additional offer for cyclists – for both the overnight and day guests. The goal is to experience regional cuisine during your bike trip. At the same time, an attempt is being made to close an important gap in the supply chain.

After or during a bike tour through the picturesque landscape of the region, the guests strengthen themselves with regional and seasonal delicacies, which are safely stowed away in the easy-to-assemble bike basket. Enjoying the landscape meets culinary delights. Once you have found your dream spot along the tour, it's time to enjoy: bread/pastries, sausage and cheese, spreads and vegetables as well as fruit and a sweet surprise ensure you have a relaxing rest. Well strengthened, it goes on again.

The Weinviertler cyclist picnic is currently available at around 25 participating restaurants, wine taverns, accommodation providers and bike rental shops. In addition to the classic version, a vegetarian version is of course also available.
