Day trip March-Thaya-Auen

The tourist offer along the March-Thaya floodplains is to be further strengthened. Therefore, the communities involved (Rabensburg, Hohenau an der March, Ringelsdorf-Niederabsdorf, Drösing,äßenspeigen, Dürnkrut and Angern an der March) decided to create a program about possible day trips to the March-Thaya floodplains. Excursion options are presented in brochures and online and provided with bookable offers. So, for example, travel by train, arrive in Drösing, visit the sand dunes, the bee nature trail and the pollarded willows, lunch, continue hiking to Hohenau an der March with a visit to the ringing station, visit the March-Thaya Center, relax at the end at the wine tavern on the Kellerberg, return trip with the Northern Railway.
