This is how Sulz cooks

The applicants will produce a cookery book with a special focus on vegetarian food. The first target is to preserve the knowledge of the elderly people on traditional regional vegetarian food. They had to cope with lack of meat in former times due to economic reasons and their solutions will be elaborated. The second (and even more important) target is to integrate the migrants who have relocated to Sulz im Weinviertel. The first step is to interview them about their special background and their specific prerequisites. Their own recipes will get a prominent weighting in the cookery book. After the recipe book has been printed, regular workshops will be organized where the migrants have got the chance to meet the other people of Sulz in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. They can show the preparations and how to cook their special dishes. By doing so and eating together and talking with each other after, the migrants will get quick access to the native inhabitants and people will get to know each other.
