The history of our communities

A lot of historical knowledge is often hidden in the form of photos in drawers and cupboards in private households and can therefore be lost forever. In order to record these historical documents for posterity, the LEADER Region Weinvierte Ost enables the digitization of the old photos and film materials that are accessible to the entire population on the platform www.topothek.at. A manual insight into the history of the community is also provided by means of an exhibition panel. The project creates awareness among the population for the history of the community and the Weinviertel, thereby strengthening the connection to home.
