Weinviertel resting place Angern/March

The Weinviertel has a variety of cycling, hiking and pilgrimage routes. Attractive resting places should not be missing. A support call from the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost will create rest areas in the eastern Weinviertel along different cycle paths according to specified equipment criteria with recognition value.

Three rest areas in the Weinviertel are set up in the market town of Angern/March. These each consist of a pergola, seating area, bicycle racks, Weinviertel flag including flagpole, signposts and an information board about the surrounding area.

With the Weinviertel rest area, the bike paths are to be made more attractive and used for recreation by the population, but also by guests and day trippers. Furthermore, communication within the population is to be promoted, thereby promoting the village community.
