The project selection committee decides on projects at a regional level
Our project selection committee reviews your project presentation and then makes a decision at regional level based on objective criteria. Decision-making headed by a regional committee consisting primarily of civilians from the LEADER region, is unique to the LEADER approach. Only once they have come to a decision is the project forwarded to the regional authority in charge.
No contracts may be awarded or costs incurred prior to this decision. The date for the meeting of the project selection committee is the deadline for cost approval – now it's time to get started with your project!
