Genussrastplatz Großkrut

In the Weinviertel there are wonderful places in the cellar lanes. Attractive places to rest, including supplies, should not be missing. Through a funding call from the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost, pleasure rest areas with refreshment stops in cellar lanes were created in the eastern Weinviertel.

In the market town of Großkrut, a rest area was built in the old milk house. This consists of an E-bike charging station, bicycle repair stand, bicycle racks, Weinviertel signboard and an information board about the surrounding area. The existing old building was renovated. There is also a vending machine of the winery Schlifelner/Oppenauer.

With the pleasure rest area, a resting place as well as a meeting place for the local population was created. The decay of the cellar lanes should is to be stopped, press houses are to be revived and the cultural asset cellar lane is to be staged. This will enhance the quality of life and local identity.
