KOST.bares Weinviertel – An experience for the next generation
With the project ‘KOST.bares Weinviertel – Ein Erlebnis der nächsten Generation‘, significant steps were taken to sustainably increase the added value and appreciation of Weinviertel products. One of the greatest successes was the relaunch of the website **www.kostbares-weinviertel.at**, which included a user-friendly redesign, the implementation of new functions and an update of the CMS system. At the same time, various measures were implemented to raise awareness of regional products. These included the creation of a children's recipe booklet, a seasonal calendar for children to colour in, the redesign of the seasonal calendar for social media and regular advertising campaigns for Weinviertel products.
An annual programme for the leading businesses and the ‘Next Generation’ businesses in the Weinviertel was developed to strengthen cooperation and networking in the region. At the same time, a gift box with a cork lid was designed to enable visitors and residents to package products from the Weinviertel region as attractive gifts. In addition, a number of producers worked together to create an Advent calendar with regional products, which was also successfully launched.
The development of experience businesses was also an important part of the project. Three businesses were accompanied and supported in order to impart knowledge about regional products and strengthen their marketing through playful and interactive experiences. In addition, comprehensive advice was offered to marketers, such as farm shops and markets, in order to further promote the sale and visibility of Weinviertel products.
