Menü-Wirte im Weinviertler Dreiländereck

The extinction of local restaurants is increasingly becoming a problem in the domestic gastronomy sector. Crises such as the corona pandemic, general inflation, staff shortages etc. make it more difficult to operate a restaurant successfully. The aim of this project is to get more guests interested in visiting the regional restaurants. With the web platform of the “Menüwirte im Weinviertler Dreiländereck”, a web application was created on which innkeepers can present their daily menus quickly and easily. This means that menus no longer have to be distributed weekly via social media, email etc., but guests can independently search for menus in their area at any time.

Nowadays, information must be available quickly and easily via the Internet and must always be up to date. Local menu operators are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with this flood of fast information. The web application for “Menüwirte” is intended to enable innkeepers to update their daily menus in no time. Contact details and opening times can also be specified. With a simple search, guests can see the current daily menus in a list at any time and on any device. This is intended to attract more guests to regional restaurants.
