Weinviertel resting place Asparn/Zaya

The Weinviertel has a variety of cycling, hiking and pilgrimage routes. Attractive resting places should not be missing. Through a funding call from the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost, rest areas were created in the eastern Weinviertel on different bike paths according to specified equipment criteria with recognition value.

A Weinviertel rest area was built in the market town of Asparn/Zaya. This consists of a pergola including a roof, seating area, bicycle rack, waste bin and ashtray, repair stand, water dispenser, Weinviertel flag including a flagpole and an information board about the surrounding area.

With the Weinviertel rest area, the respective cycle paths are to be made more attractive and used by the population, but also by guests and day trippers, for recreation. Furthermore, communication within the population is to be promoted, thereby promoting the village community.
