Weinviertel resting places Jedenspeigen

The Weinviertel has a variety of cycling, hiking and pilgrimage routes. Attractive resting places should not be missing. Through a funding call from the LEADER Region Weinviertel Ost, rest areas were created in the eastern Weinviertel on different bike paths according to specified equipment criteria with recognition value.

In the market town of Jedenspeigen, a Weinviertel rest area was built on the Kellerberg in Sierndorf. This consists of a pergola, a bench-table combination, bicycle storage facilities, a bicycle repair column, a waste container, a drinking water station, a Weinviertel flag and information board about the surrounding area as well as a sign to the Weinviertel rest area.

With the Weinviertel rest area, the respective cycle paths are to be made more attractive and used by the population, but also by guests and day trippers, for recreation. Furthermore, communication within the population is to be promoted, thereby promoting the village community.
