Weinviertel - Strengthening of the regional identity

Zu sehen ist eine Collage bestehend aus den verschiedenen Produkten aus dem Weinviertel, wie einem Babybody, dem Geschichtenheft, dem Liegestuhl, der Weinviertel-Fahne, den Schulmaterialien und einem Weinviertel-Aufkleber auf einem Rad.

The project aims to create greater awareness and a strong sense of pride in the Weinviertel region among the population, regional organisations, municipalities, businesses and stakeholders. The aim is to reduce emigration, increase quality of life and secure regional added value. The focus is on strengthening the regional identity and solidarity of residents in order to promote a more personal connection to the region.

The Weinviertel will be made more visible and tangible through targeted measures, for example by imparting knowledge about history and customs and promoting opportunities to experience the landscape, cellar lanes and wine. Citizens become ambassadors for the region in order to spread awareness and commitment to their homeland.

In addition, communication between regional stakeholders is improved by sharing knowledge and establishing a standardised ‘language’ about the region. At the same time, the connection to the Weinviertel is strengthened in the external communication of municipalities and businesses. These measures not only promote cohesion, but also raise awareness of the ‘Weinviertel’ brand, which should sustainably support the region's identity and added value in the long term.
